After literally just writing up an Animals As Leaders related review for guitarist Javier Reyes solo record, I happened upon some HUGE Animals As Leaders news... Get ready for it... Animals As Leaders will officially start recording their third full-length studio album with Misha Mansoor aka Bulb aka Periphery's mastermind TODAY!
This is huge for two reasons. First reason, the flawless original Animals As Leaders record which broke ground and pushed musical boundaries was recorded and produced by Misha back in the day. Actually for those of you who don't know, there's a chance AAL wouldn't have ever existed if it wasn't for the help of Bulb. When Tosin ran out of money recording his debut, he almost gave up before Misha stepped in. Thank god he did... Second reason, Animals As Leaders is officially recording again! Hell yeah!
Bulb stated this along with posting the picture below, "Writing new Animals As Leaders riffs with Tosin Abasi. Recording starts tomorrow!" aka today. We'll keep you up to date as more news on the record rolls in so stay tuned. But for now, blast the tracks from the original AAL record below!
