Karybdis is new melodic death metal act hailing from London. Formed in 2009, they attained popularity in the UK's underground metal scene. They kept growing and improving til the release of their debut album “From The Depths” in late 2012.
Lyrically marked on ancient mythological themes and musically inspired by the old masters of melodeath, they blend the past with modern metal and even mathcore elements packed in a heavy and ruthless musical solution. They're also not afraid to implement some intelligent melodies in their music, basically built on a refined guitar riffage.
Their album was released via Beasting Records and now they're going to perform some cool gigs in their country during the summer. This included a showing at this years UK Tech-Metal Fest! Give a listen to their stuff below!
