I'll be out of town for the next four days but I didn't want to leave The Circle Pit hanging. So here's something I set up last week to kill all the memory left on your iPod.

We've helped promote a lot of free music over time. This is the cream of the crop. And it ranges from big bands to the deep underground. Click a link, any link. You may just find a new favorite. No matter what, you'll find free music and tunes available for the price of your choosing. All of these artists deserve support, so don't be afraid to throw some dollars if something really makes you happy.

NATIVE CONSTRUCT "QUIET WORLD" ALBUM PREVIEW

This upcoming record is sure to be anything but quiet. Native Constuct are emerging as one of the more promising Progressive Metal units of recent years. They've managed to capture the attention of many with the release of a single song. A twelve minute song, mind you. The track "Chromatic Aberration" is a mind bending, intelligent aural adventure to say the least. And if it's any indication of what's to come... hooolay shit!

The debut "Quiet World" is slated for release on August 2nd. Mark your calendars! So far, in addition to the release of "Chromatic Aberration" (which may be updated), some incredible artwork and the official tracklisting have been made public. It will feature seven tracks of beautiful, complex insanity. And considering it's a full-length based on only seven tracks with a twelve minute single, every song is bound to packed full with quality content. Definitely keep both eyes open for this album!

FREE MUSIC MONDAY - NATIVE CONSTRUCT

Native Construct is a band to keep both eyes on. These guys pack in so much potential it's nuts... and they've only released one song so far. That's a claim I can rarely make. But it should be noted they have a 7 track full-length "Quiet World" incoming.

The song that they have released, "Chromatic Aberration", is a twelve minute aural journey into shreddy soundscapes. It packs in all sorts of greatness with musical twists and turns. I 100% recommend you watch the play through below. Support your jaw during the experience because it might drop. To make the song even better, it's available for a "name your price" download on Bandcamp! It will also be on the upcoming album so keep your eyes and ears open for that.
