I'll be out of town until Wednesday but I didn't want to leave The Circle Pit hanging. So here's something I set up last week to kill all the memory left on your iPod.

We've helped promote a lot of free music over time. This is the cream of the crop. And it ranges from big bands to the deep underground. Click a link, any link. You may just find a new favorite. No matter what, you'll find free music and tunes available for the price of your choosing. All of these artists deserve support, so don't be afraid to throw some dollars if something really makes you happy.

ARONIOUS "DISILLUSIONMENT PART I & II" SINGLES (FOR FREE!)

I'd go out on a limb and say Aronious (ex-Apollyon) is one of the most promising metal bands emerging from the underground's depths currently. This Green Bay Progressive Death Metal unit packs in greatness on the next level. A good listen to their work is enough to tell.

Shortly after the release of the single "Disillusionment Part I" last week they've come back strong as hell with Part II. Solid material here. There's also a great interlude between the two called "Cognitive Process". I suggest you shift your cognitive focus to the music down below and grab some Aronious on Bandcamp.

FREE MUSIC MONDAY - ARONIOUS

APOLLYON

Today we're gonna feature music from a band that isn't around anymore but is just too damn worthy of recognition. From Wisconsin, Apollyon had something huge going on with a massive progressive sound. Seriously, listen to that greatness below. Not to say the greatness is over. Guitarist Brandon Brown moved on to form progressive death metal titans in the making, Aronious. Be sure to give them a listen too. Good shit!

DOUBLE FREE MUSIC MONDAY! - ARONIOUS

Coming from Green Bay, Wisconsin Aronious are a progressive Death Metal band with a lot of potential. I was immediately blown away by their new single "Truth In Perception", which is available for free download! The band is very tight, technical, and smart about how they create music. They are new to the scene, but they write and play like a bunch of seasoned pros. "Truth In Perception" is highly recommended. Listen below and get the song on the official Aronious Bandcamp. You get to name your own price, but consider sparing a few $$$ if you enjoy the music. Really looking forward to seeing what this band accomplishes in the future.
