Although the much anticipated third album release from Oceano is not set to hit stores until October 1st, nothing stopped the residents from the world of all things brutality from penetrating the sound waves and infiltrating minds nearly two months early with another leaked track. After teasing fans with this four minute ballad of the soon-to-be released 12 track full-length album, the band has truly sparked a motion of unfulfilled needs across the death metal community causing fans everywhere to cringe in desperation desiring to hear more.
This released album title track called "Incisions" is a fierce pounding song that swiftly escorts the listener across a hellish roller coaster ride of horrifically creepy riffs and exploding bass drops that will slow pulses and catapult listeners into a constant state of intense excitement. It is the type of song that effortlessly causes the fearless soul to be paralyzed in terror as the sounds of evil lurk around their ears invoking a repeated act of anxious glares over the shoulder while trembling in fright from the inescapable darkness surrounding them. Regardless of the fact that Oceano's brave new singing element could perhaps be a target for strong criticism, the catchy vocals in the chorus still hold the song firmly into a position of capital carnage.

Recently, The Acacia Strain decided to move on without their studio guitarist / founding member Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz. You can read up more on that here. Even more recently, the band announced two new guitarists set to officially join their line-up in his place. Devin Shidaker (ex-Oceano) and Richard Gomez are those guitarists. At this point, one can only speculate how this will affect their sound. “It is with excitement and zero negativity that Massachusetts’ based, The Acacia Strain announce the addition of two new full time members, Devin Shidaker and Richard Gomez, both on guitar. After many years of service, Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz will no longer be writing music for The Acacia Strain and we wish him the best in all of his future endeavors.
As a band who tours, it is very unfair to have people who have stuck by us and tell them that they have no say or can’t be an active participant. (Thank you for life Tony Diaz).
As a band, our perspective is for all of us to be involved and be a team, not only on the road but for every aspect of the band and all be a part of it. Richie and Devin bring experience and passion to the table and offer a forward thinking perspective to this band which has been wanted and needed for some time.

Molson Canadian presents a tour south of the border into the United States. But this ain't your daddy's tour. This is All Shall Perish decimating the weak along with Oceano, Within The Ruins, Obey The Brave, Reflections, and Betrayal. You can go ahead and read over that line-up again. This tour will destroy venues and ear drums alike.
Starting up at the very end of July, they will trek the United States through August. The madness will kick off in Arizona, make a full loop around the east while making a quick Canadian stop, and end up in Colorado. Should be awesome!
