PERSPECTIVES PLAY THROUGH TEASER

First Impression - Ohhhh great, another djent band with a pluralized name.

First Listen - Ohhhh shit!

Earlier this month a new band emerged from France. Perspectives is their name... Initially, I had very low expectations (aside from the incredible artwork haha) but now I understand why the band is soooo damn awesome.

Turns out Max Michel is the guitarist. I know many of you probably don't recognize the name... yet. Max is the only guitarist to play alongside the experimental French project The Algorithm. In other words, he's a guitarist capable of playing the "impossible" like it's nothing. MAJOR chops here. He's accompanied by guitarist Pierre Danel in delivering some serious technical damage.

Our friends over at got-djent.com just posted up an exclusive guitar play through teaser with these stringsmen and it provides some very tasty shred. Check it out and show some love.

BANDS TO WATCH OUT FOR - PERSPECTIVES

I know, I know, another band with a pluralized name / song titles. Very original.... Luckily the music Perspectives produces proceeded to peak my interest much more than the name of their band. Not to mention the artwork is awesome.

They just dropped a song entitled "Shades" which has been making ripples through the underground. After a good listen or two it's not hard to see why. Initially the rough production may take you aback but the razor tight instrumentation, intelligent songwriting, and mind swallowing atmosphere are impressive to say the least.

If Perspectives can keep up this level of music (with the addition of better production), they will soon find themselves in the upper echelon of the "Djent" scene. Mark my words.
