FREE MUSIC MARATHON (LAP 2 / 4)

I'll be out of town until Wednesday but I didn't want to leave The Circle Pit hanging. So here's something I set up last week to kill all the memory left on your iPod.

THIS IS THE FREE MUSIC MARATHON!

We've helped promote a lot of free music over time. This is the cream of the crop. And it ranges from big bands to the deep underground. Click a link, any link. You may just find a new favorite. No matter what, you'll find free music and tunes available for the price of your choosing. All of these artists deserve support, so don't be afraid to throw some dollars if something really makes you happy.

This is the second lap of four. 25 links a day.

We'll officially be back in full operation on Wednesday.

FREE MUSIC MONDAY - MENDEL

Mendel is instrumental progressive shred with a neoclassical structure from the Netherlands. At first listen “Subliminal Colors” grabs you by the balls, but in a good way, like an attractive female doctor. The album features endless high end ventures over dark channels of rhythm.

This is some serious free music. Each track is a magnificently structured mammoth of metal shred. Speedy drumming plows a trail for the axes to pierce through cleanly. Visually, Mendel is a souped up Viking war ship slicing through black ocean.

“Subliminal Colors” is a massive 73 minute vivid collage of technical progressive metal.  Even featured is a 25 minute…song?  I guess its technically considered a “song” although I’ve seen less music called an album. Again, its amazing that owning this masterpiece only costs megabytes.  For fans of The Human Abstract, Francesco Artusato, and Intervals. Go pick dat up on Bandcamp!
