BANDS TO WATCH OUT FOR - AEOLIST / FIRST FRAGMENT / ABIOTIC

Here's a collection of three bands you'd best be keeping an eye on.

There's a new band on the verge of blowing minds. Coming from the UK, Aeolist is a super technical Progressive Metal band that brings all the shred and off-time insanity one could possibly hope for. There's even serious touches of taste and melodic thinking in there. Missing out on these guys might be a mistake. Be on the lookout for their debut EP dropping November 14th in association with our friends at Monolithic Music!

Coming from Canada, Tech-Death talents First Fragment are definitely a band to watch out for. This is an incredible musical unit bringing evident purpose and direction. As with most bands in the genre, you should expect extreme heaviness, brutality, and technicality pushed to it's limits. First Fragment delivers all of this and more. Currently they're working on their debut full-length and from the sounds of it, it's going to be a monster. You can sample 2010's "The Afterthought Ectasy" below.

Coming out of South Florida, Tech Death 5 piece Abiotic have been tearing shit up (especially their bassist) since 2010. However, changes recently took place as they swapped one vocalist for another. Currently, the re-aligned band is working on a follow up to 2012's blistering "Symbiosis". ABIOTIC ANNOUNCE NEW VOCALIST / PREVIEW NEW SONG

Coming out of South Florida, Tech Death 5 piece Abiotic have been carving a path of destruction over the past few years. First with their "Universal Plague" EP and then striking back twice as strong with the debut album "Symbiosis".

But as with most bands, it hasn't been a straightforward endeavor. The band recently found a replacement for their previous frontman Ray Jimenez. You can witness their new line up with Dickie Allen (ex-Dealey Plaza) taking the helm through the video down below. On top of this, it's a video of the band playing a new song which has been dubbed “Perceptive Impurity”. You know what that means... new music is heading this way \m/

ABIOTIC VAN TROUBLES

The road can be a treacherous place. And it always seems a touring van is the weakest link of any band. Luckily in this case no one was hurt or anything particularly dramatic. But Abiotic does need your support. Read on below...

“We just got home from our tour with The Faceless, Within the Ruins, and Rings of Saturn and we had a fucking blast! A huge thanks to all of you that came out to a show, picked up some merch, gave us a floor to crash on and a shower when we needed it. We’ve got the most amazing fans and we appreciate all of you very much!

That being said, we unfortunately have had to cancel the last three dates of our run with Within the Ruins due to some severe van trouble we’ve been having. We spent over $1200 fixing this van just to be able to make it home, only to find out that there are more serious problems that are going on with it which leaves us at the decision to have to purchase a new van.

We WILL still be doing all the current tours we are booked on, but at this point, we do need your help!”

MASSIVE DYING FETUS TOUR

Metalsucks and Converse present easily one of THE HEAVIEST TOURS of the year. My god, look at that line-up! THE FACELESS TOURING ALONGSIDE WITHIN THE RUINS AND RINGS OF SATURN IN JUNE

Are you still sure that Europe always gets the best tours? Look again. Californian technical death metal masters The Faceless will be on tour around North America for 15 shows in June. But this is just the beginning. They'll be teaming up with some of the greatest technical death metal / deathcore acts of America! Within The Ruins and Rings Of Saturn will join them for the whole tour while Abiotic and Today I Caught The Plague will be performing on selected dates. Man, I think I may cross the ocean swimming to witness one of these shows!

ABIOTIC "SYMBIOSIS" ALBUM PREVIEW

Coming out of South Florida, Tech Death 5 piece Abiotic just announced their debut album "Symbiosis". These guys have been tearing shit up (especially their bassist) since last year with their "Universal Plague" EP. The record is set up for an October 22nd release on Metal Blade Records. Abiotic released this statement:

"This record will definitely show everyone what we're all about and we couldn't be more excited to release it! Sonic Assault Studios and Alan Douches did an amazing job on the production and the guest spots on it are top notch! We believe this record has something all metal lovers can enjoy!"
